Hi, I'm Kelsa!

I have been teaching mindfulness meditation techniques in homes, classrooms, and boardrooms in the Westchester area for over a decade.

I am a 100-hour mindfulness meditation teacher who is trained and certified through Dharma Moon and Tibet House US, the cultural center of H.H. the Dalai Lama.

My career began in the mental health field followed by 10 years in the New York City fashion industry.


After having a child in 2010, I was curious to understand why so much of the mental stress and unease that I had experienced in my previous fast-paced, corporate career now followed me into suburban motherhood.

My external life was so different, but my internal narrative was very much the same. My earlier training in psychology led me to question my "mental habits" that seemed to follow me throughout life.


In 2011, I enrolled in an 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction class, and quickly saw why these ancient, Eastern practices were quickly catching on in our nonstop, Western culture.

I began noticing the positive effects of allowing my thinking mind to settle and the powerful clarity, confidence and warmth that naturally shines through.


Over the years, while deepening my practice and honing my skills as a teacher, I have studied the teachings of Buddhist master practitioners and scholars within the New Kadampa, Theravada and Kagyu traditions.


I have attended more than a dozen weekend meditation trainings, and several silent retreats lasting a week or longer.

Since 2014, I have been leading mindfulness meditation classes and workshops within the Westchester County, New York area.

I combine my mental health knowledge, mindfulness meditation training, and group facilitation skills to lead powerful group experiences for corporations, nonprofits, entrepreneurs, academic institutions, and teams looking for positive outcomes in mental health, stress management and self-esteem.

My goal is to help as many people as possible learn how to use mindfulness meditation to feel happier and more confident, as well as manage stress in our modern world.
